Inspired by the philosophers Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, and Spinoza’s concept of substance, Gil Gelpi interprets the human body and all that exists as a substance in a constant state of becoming. In his creations, we can detect a rhizomatic logic: a form of intuitive growth that follows an almost bacterial pattern, where the inside melts with the outside, concentrating impulses and emotions, flows and energies, memories and instincts—constantly changing, breathing, imagining…

In his hometown, Gil Gelpi began his art studies at Ar.Co and the António Arroio Art Schools before completing his film studies at E.S.T.C. University, where he met Professor Rafael Godinho, the translator of much of Deleuze’s work into Portuguese. In 2009, he won an artist exchange program and held his first solo exhibition at the Magyar Muhely Galeria in Budapest. Later that same year, he moved to Barcelona to study sculpture at Escola Massana. From 2011 to 2017, he worked for the sculptor Samuel Salcedo. In 2018, he began teaching sculpture at the Escola de Ceràmica de la Bisbal. He now splits his time between Sintra, Portugal, and Barcelona, Spain. His works are part of many private collections in Canada, the U.S.A., Mexico, Austria, the U.K., Slovakia, Luxembourg, Spain, and Portugal.

“I understand painting as an exploration and analysis of the paths offered by pictorial creation and elaboration. For me, it is an act of emancipation in search of creative and personal freedom.

Through pictorial abstraction, I seek to express this freedom. I paint to learn and discover where I want to go, what I can become…

Living in this emancipation of the creative process, omitting and questioning the frames or limits one generates, knowing they are never finite, and considering that there is no end result, is the dialogue I establish with my painting.

The love for painting, the history that this genre has carried through the centuries, and the poetics of the materials used at different stages of pictorial creation are elements I incorporate into my work process.”

Álvaro states: “Artistic creation has been a way of expression and communication since I can remember. Art answers my existential questions and raises others that I want to resolve. I feel deeply related to the European expressionism of the 20th century, I try to continue its legacy, which can tell us so much about our society today. I pay attention to human emotions, especially those that we experience with shame because those are hard to admit. Loneliness, uncertainty, anxiety or nonconformity are some of the recurring expressions of my characters. They help me describe and understand what society is like and what role I play in it. In the search for a representation of human feeling without prejudices, without lies or complexes, I find a deep love for shapes, color and composition. Trying to create an honest work with the public and with myself that honors the beauty of art and nature. Art has become my life and I don’t think I can leave it.”

30 years immersed in the depths of drugs and alcohol. A hell in a loop took hold of me and self-destruction tore at the very core of my being. But suffering makes you grow and my pain was transformed into art. Years of internal work until I finally learned to relate to other people again. Painting has provided me with that shelter I longed for, that peace that is provided, that appears with a clear and serene mind, that allows you to slide through the world, despite adversity, with a new veteran innocence, an innocence torn by years of shadows.

Now I feel alive when I paint. The creation of a work begins when I think of it, looking for the music I will listen to, going to buy the material, tidying up the studio, gathering ideas and colours (should I add an animal?), deciding the size of the canvas, etc… My working method is based on accumulating ideas, images, experiences and feelings. The moment comes when the brush caresses the canvas! An inexplicable connection arises for me. That is where everything moves, is measured, eliminated, aligned, mixed, added, measured again…
It is the consented and consensual chaos that will end up being a new painting. I see art every time I look, every time I think. Any routine, everyday or unexpected and involuntary moment is an opportunity to create.

I represent in my canvases the sensations of images that surprise me at first sight. In each work there is a part of me that disappears to make room for new emotions. Painting is a constant cleansing and sanction of the being.
The more I paint, the more I live.

Sater is a graffiti artist from Barcelona who began his practice in 2002. From a young age, he attended artistic drawing classes, where he explored various disciplines such as charcoal, watercolor, oil painting, and sculpture. Later, he took courses in 3D design and Photoshop, eventually directing his focus toward street art, which evolved into large-scale mural painting using aerosol techniques—something he has been practicing since 2002.

His influences are primarily drawn from graffiti, including American, French, and Spanish styles, as well as classical illustration and tattoo art.

Today, Sater paints classic graffiti on any surface he finds—highway walls, roads, streams, large walls—and, most notably, abandoned sites and vehicles. He combines his lettering with elements like pipes, mounds of scrap metal, and anything worn by time. He enjoys complementing his pieces with rust, moisture, cracks, and other elements of the landscape to create urban, underground compositions.

Faith, Fear of Death, Childhood and Play.

The sum of the four concepts can be understood as the daily struggle of adult life. Not as a pessimistic vision, nor as a hymn to innocence, but a consecutive presentation of individual postcards. Allegories in which one of these four concepts is more prevailing than the others.

Faith and fear of death are an action-reaction of one another that come together to oppose each other in an often everyday scene.

In my painting, there is always “the kid,” which represents innocence still intact. This child is always Jesus, innocent, unaware of the martyrdom and suffering that is to come.
Sometimes he is replaced by a flower, cut from his plant, symbolizing beauty yet to be corrupted.

And then… a threat.
A threat that is only there but does not break the scene: Adult life is the end of innocence. Death.

He started with an easily identifiable skeleton but switched to a plastic bag.
A common and everyday object, meaningless and ugly, but in it they take the things that we are supposed to buy and need for our maintenance, for our needs in a productive life in society.

However, if you put a plastic bag upside down, it becomes short of breath: death.

She paints her constantly evolving alphabet of symbols, an “alternative language” through which she seeks to communicate, convey emotions, and provoke reactions. These elements are integrated into her compositions, allowing her to channel and express different energies through her art.
One of her main practices is paste-up: she draws with markers on paper and creates unique compositions that she integrates into the urban landscape.

For Tuike, color and line not only form the foundation of his work, but also interact in a vibrant and minimalist harmony. In his paintings, a subtle synthesis of color and shape reveals the human figure through pure lines that occupy the two-dimensional space with great precision.

Tuike Souza’s work unfolds a visual poetry where the human figure and the urban landscape meet in a narrative of great subtlety. His works explore the connection between these elements, offering a unique representation of the urban environment and the human forms that inhabit it.

With solo exhibitions in Barcelona, London, and São Paulo, as well as participation in international fairs like the Affordable Art Fair in Hamburg and New York, Tuike has consolidated his presence in the international art scene. His work has also been recognized in important competitions such as the Fundació Vila Casas and the Biennal d’Art at the Museu d’Art Modern de Tarragona.

Mixed media paintings that embrace destruction as a gateway to new creation, much like the cycle of life: death and rebirth. Faces formed from fragments of other faces, reflecting how we, too, are the result of a constant evolution of the social roles we inhabit in our everyday lives. Abstractions created with various materials, each work infused with raw emotion and built from scratch, always approached intuitively—interacting with both the material supports and with life itself. An ongoing exploration through any element that can be transformed into ART.

His work is rooted in a new artistic order where authenticity and inner truth prevail above all. Influenced by Spanish classics and the works of great masters like Picasso and Miró, his style is characterized by spontaneity and a vibrant, varied color palette. Each brushstroke is an expression of his emotions and reflections, a dialogue between the chaos and harmony that resides within him.

He works in both canvas and digital media, employing mixed techniques that incorporate recycled materials. This choice not only reflects his commitment to sustainability but also symbolizes the transformation and rebirth he seeks in each piece. Through his art, he hopes to inspire others to embrace their authenticity and find their own path toward healing and personal evolution.

He has worked as a freelance photographer and filmmaker for French TV and skateboard magazines in Europe and internationally for more than 30 years, which has given him the opportunity to travel to numerous countries and document these journeys.

In 2005, he developed an interest in painting and drawing, which allowed him to express himself in new ways, beyond photography and video. For him, skateboards became the best canvas he could use. He works exclusively with used skateboards because recycling is very important to him, and he finds it fascinating to give a second life to skateboards that have been used in the streets, transforming them into pieces of art.

Their thought-provoking street art blends pop culture and urban art to explore themes of financial privacy, segregation, borders, and inflation. Their vibrant pieces challenge viewers to reconsider the impact of money on society, encouraging them to envision and contribute to a better future. In a world marked by economic uncertainty and financial inequality, Street Cyber’s work serves as a vital reminder of the importance of financial literacy, global citizenship, and individual responsibility. Their art invites us to reimagine a world where money is a tool for empowerment, rather than a source of division. Street Cyber’s creations are not merely visual spectacles; they are calls to action. They urge individuals to become more aware of their surroundings and actively engage in shaping a more equitable world. Their work stands as a beacon of hope, inspiring people to believe in the transformative power of art to drive change.

Alba’s art blends surrealism and Japanese influences, often featuring female figures that symbolize sensuality, feminism, and societal pressures. Butterflies, a recurring symbol in her work, represent fragility, transformation, and strength.

Her paintings often contrast dark backgrounds with light areas guided by butterflies, reflecting personal and intimate emotions. Alba’s work explores the tension between reality and consciousness, and the interplay of fantasy and the subconscious. Despite challenges, her passion has led to thought-provoking art that resonates with viewers, earning her critical acclaim.

Her art delves into the human experience, exploring the depths of emotion and the complexity of the soul. It reflects the coexistence of beauty and pain, aiming to provoke thought and challenge norms.

Alba blends digital drawing and traditional painting to fuse past and future. She starts with manual digital designs, print them with high-quality materials, and add layers of traditional paint using various textures. This approach brings depth and expression to her work, creating unique, luxurious pieces.

My work focuses on the pursuit of personal and creative freedom. I want to feel that I am fully responsible for my freedom, doing what I truly want and what I genuinely feel. I dislike rules, limits, and academic constraints, and I constantly work to distance myself from them. I believe that if, during our childhood, we had been taught that rules are meant to be challenged, we would likely be more responsible for our freedom as adults.

Javier De Cea’s mixed-media works combine paint, marker, and pencil in compositions that serve as instinctive and visual explorations. By creating lines and splashes of pigment on each canvas, De Cea draws as if writing, suggesting a world of abstract shapes and colors. His lively compositions capture the chaos of modern life with texture and variety. Some of De Cea’s canvases pulse with warm reds, oranges, and yellows, while others take on cooler tones or exist as black-and-white examinations of line and form. Triptychs and diptychs divide and balance the material within the spontaneity of each work, highlighting the unanticipated repetition within such man-made tumult. In many works, the solid white, black, or tinted backdrop teems with subtle variation. This texture adds another layer of interest to each heavily weighted composition, often comprised primarily of negative space.

The Chilean artist Javier De Cea works in both Chile and Barcelona and has a background in architecture and fine arts. His areas of expertise and personal observations influence his work.

Riccardo Lopez, better known as White Rabbit, is an Italian painter, graphic designer, and graffiti artist who has developed much of his artistic journey in Ibiza, where he lived for five years. It was there that his painting and graphic design studio activities became a powerful and prolific force in the street art scene.

Riccardo began his career in Italy as an advertising graphic designer and set designer. After years of self-study and mastering various drawing and painting techniques, he moved to Ibiza, where he created the character White Rabbit, which would become his signature and street name. The name was chosen for its symbolic meaning—leading “Alice” into a dreamlike world.

In Ibiza, Riccardo embraced his identity as a graffiti artist, bringing to life on city walls the characters that reflect his poetic vision of the world.

In 2017, Riccardo relocated to Barcelona, where he began an intense period of street art and studio painting. His body of work can be divided into two main themes: The White Rabbit Revolution and The Contemporary Masks. While the style and touch of the artist are easily recognizable, these two collections differ in theme. The White Rabbit Revolution conveys a sharp, ironic approach with characters featuring rabbit ears, while The Contemporary Masks explores deeper, more poignant subjects, such as the faces of African children who have grown up in war-torn countries, evoking a sense of depth and infinity.

Riccardo Lopez’s style is initially inspired by American Pop Art and later influenced by the new English graffiti movement of the late 90s. His works feature vivid colors, recognizable icons, and an ironic yet critical commentary on contemporary culture.

The foundation of Riccardo’s work is a humanistic philosophy combined with a strong social conscience. Pop art, as both a school and a stimulus, became the starting point for renewing the language of his graphic art, which evolved from studio paintin</video:description><video:player_loc>https://www.youtube.com/embed/N4h94llzG3Q</video:player_loc><video:duration>50</video:duration><video:publication_date>2025-07-06T13:07:13Z</video:publication_date></video:video></url>
